On the way to Prague the train was super crowded. We ended up sitting on the floor for most of the 4 and 1/2 hour ride. I was stuck next to a man sleeping on a mat and Adele was shoved in a corner. At least we had a cute baby to smile at.

Prague
This weekend I took a trip to Prague. We stayed with a very sweet family. Communicating was difficult at times but we managed. Lots of laughing. The city was beautiful and I enjoyed walking around. The husband took us on a night drive to the castle. I was surprised at how quiet the city was at night.

Girls Night
This past Monday night we had a girls night out. We all got dressed up and went to hear some live music. It was a much needed break for everyone. It felt nice to get dressed up and leave the room for a few hours. Frank decided he had to have a pic with all the girls as well.
Study Break
A few nights ago I walked into my room after doing homework all day. I was already in my pajamas and still felt overwhelmed. I looked at my roommates and asked who wanted to make a gelato run. So we walked into town and got one scoop. We took pictures by a bridge and then walked across. At the end of the bridge is another gelato place. We looked at each other and said why not? One scoop of gelato from two different places...guess that's what happens when you are stressed in Europe.

Canoe Trip
This past Saturday we went on a 12 mile canoe trip. It was a blast and a great break from school work. About half way down the river we came to a spot with a rope swing. We all took turns jumping in. It was such a beautiful day. It took us around four hours to complete the journey. My arms were definitely sore the next day haha

Bastille Prison
Here is the monument that stands where the Bastille Prison used to be. The prison was stormed during the French Revolution. Seeing this reminded me of reading the book A Tale of Two Cities!
Night Visit and Crepes
We went into Paris for dinner and had delicious Crepes. The first one had eggs, ham, cheese, and mushrooms. The one for dessert had apples, caramel, and ice cream. Definitely my favorite part of Paris haha
